In the summer of 2014, Oggy Records curated a sound art project at interdisciplinary festival "De Kaaij" in the city of Nijmegen, Holland. Five oil barrels were dug in the riverside of De Waal and connected to a small closet with cd players. 30 artists had been invited to compose ultra short pieces to be played as loops in the barrels. During a 6 week period, visitors of the festival could LISTEN TO THE DRUMS.

Unfortunately, heavy rainfall caused the river to rise overnight and the project was partially destroyed. After three weeks we were able to get one barrel out of the water. The project was then continued as Listen To The Drum... This album contains all the pieces that have been played in the drums. It was put together as a recollection of the project and as a means of thanking everybody involved.
