Next one up is a lo-fi beats mini EP by one of my oldest buddies... Durian is a respected DJ and scratcher, playing all kinds of funky stuff, but always firmly rooted in the rich tradition of turntablism. Being part of a reaggea/dancehall collective and working as a tour dj for a Dutch rap star, he played most of the Netherlands' club and festival scene. Lately he was involved in Rararadio's program De Zwarte Plak and in the online scratching community around the Numark PT01. He has been honing his skills since forever, drumming the 404, behind the decks, and rock steady producing Beats for many years... This release features a fine selection of hazy and dusty tracks with a moody feel. I'm pleased to have Durian on board, and am honoured to present you this mini EP.
